Paul has worked in the Australian TV industry for over a decade, in a variety of capacities. 

Since graduating from the Professional Screenwriting course at RMIT in 2003 he has worked in the TV Fiction department for the ABC, and as the Script Coordinator on shows such as Bed of Roses, Whatever Happened To That Guy? and The Doctor Blake Mysteries Series 2. 

He was appointed Story Editor on The Doctor Blake Mysteries Series 3, a role he would hold for every subsequent series of the show. He would go on to write multiple episodes of Series 4 and 5, as well as The Doctor Blake Mysteries: Family Portrait telemovie for ABC TV, the highest rating Australian TV drama of 2017. 

Most recently he wrote The Blake Mysteries: Ghost Stories telemovie for Channel 7, which aired in 2018. He currently has several projects in development, including a number of feature film re-writes, an original political drama TV series, and a horror screenplay which has been optioned in the U.S.
