Tam Sainsbury has directed and produced four feature films, most recently He Loves Me Not, a romantic comedy which premiered at the Gold Coast Film Festival and is currently having a small theatrical run in Australia and being globally distributed by SC Films. Previous to that was The 13th Summer which is currently screening on Channel Nine in Australia and Amazon & Apple in the USA and UK. Prior to that she directed feature film Perfect Messy Holiday which currently screens throughout the US on numerous streaming platforms and in Europe, Scandinavia and South America.
Tam wrote, directed and produced web series Time & Place with Screen Australia as principal production investor and directed and produced web series Perfect Messy Love which was funded by Screen Queensland’s digital conversion grant. She has directed numerous short films which have won awards at international festivals, the most recent being an honourable mention at the 2022 Berlin Arts Film Festival.
Tam has also directed on Channel Ten’s Neighbours and was the first outsourced director to be employed by the US company Mind Valley, directing their largest viewed Quest ever.
